Before he died, he had a column on Web Animation Magazine; this is that column. First appears in the Wayback Machine in 2005. Here's his 2nd to last column. In the opening he describes his recent health problems, which is eriee to read because the stuff he describes is really close to the way he passed. :( (I Used Google Translate to read it; I don't know Japanese.)
